

Stanley Eli Waintraub, M.D.
Chief of Hematology at Hackensack University Medical Center
Dr. Waintraub is a member of the medical staff of Hackensack University Medical Center's Northern New Jersey Cancer Center, and serves as chief of Hematology at the medical center.His research affiliations include the National Cancer Institute-funded Community Cancer Oncology Program and the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group. His clinical research interests include the use of human erythropoietin in cancer patients and clinical trials on metastatic breast cancer patients.
A magna cum laude graduate of the Brooklyn College of the City University of New York, Dr. Waintraub received his medical degree from New York Medical College. His post-graduate training includes: an internship and residency in internal medicine at Metropolitan Hospital Center in New York City; clinical hematology and research fellowships at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx; and clinical and research fellowships at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and the Sloan-Kettering Institute for Cancer Research in New York City. Board-certified in internal medicine and the subspecialties of hematology and medical oncology, Dr. Waintraub is a clinical assistant professor of medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-New Jersey Medical School in Newark, an adjunct attending at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, and on staff at Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck, N.J.
Dr. Waintraub's professional memberships include the American College of Physicians, the American Society of Hematology, and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
