


Richard J. Rosenbluth, M.D.
Chief of Medical Oncology at Hackensack University Medical Center
As chief of medical oncology, Dr. Rosenbluth heads the Northern New Jersey Cancer Center, the medical center's outpatient office for diagnostic, treatment, and support services. He is also medical director of the medical center's Hospice Program.Dr. Rosenbluth is a principal investigator for research projects involving the medical center's participation in the Clinical Community Oncology Program (CCOP), a National Cancer Institute-funded program in association with Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG).
A graduate with honors of the City College of New York, Dr. Rosenbluth received his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine. He completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at Bellevue Hospital Center in New York City. Following graduation, he joined the United States Public Health Service and was clinical associate of the National Cancer Institute's Laboratory of Toxicology in Bethesda. Prior to joining the staff of Hackensack University Medical Center, he was a member of the faculty of New York Medical College and the medical staff of University Hospital (NYU). Board-certified in internal medicine and the subspecialties of hematology and medical oncology, Dr. Rosenbluth is a clinical assistant professor of medicine at New York University Medical Center. His other professional appointments include the New Jersey Commission on Cancer Research's Multidisciplinary Clinical Research Group, ECOG's Cancer Control and Health Practice Committee, the Board of Trustees of Cancer Care, and the Internal Advisory Board of the Cancer Institute of New Jersey.
