

Prestigious Research Partnerships
The Transplant Programs of Hackensack University Medical Center, the Northern New Jersey Cancer Center, The Department of Perdiatrics, and the Tomorrow's Children's Institute are research partners of some of this nation's most prestigious medical facilities and research institutions. In 1982, the National Cancer Institute designated Hackensack University Medical Center a Clinical Community Oncology Program (CCOP), one of only 50 in the nation. Health care facilities affiliated with the medical center's CCOP studies include Elizabeth General Medical Center and Atlantic Health System's Morristown Memorial, Overlook, and Mountainside Hospitals.Research at the Medical Center is conducted through the:

The medical center is also a research partner of the National Cancer Institute-designated Cancer Institute of New Jersey, the only university-based center in the state dedicated to cancer research, treatment, prevention, and education.
As a major teaching affiliate of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-New Jersey Medical School, Hackensack University Medical Center is intrinsically linked with many of the nation's top research scientists and physicians.
